Chappy is a stout, handsome, very healthy Friesian with perfect ground manners, tidy barn habits and extremely personable/affectionate. Chappy is an extremely easy keeper, requiring nothing in the way of expensive feed or fancy supplements, just water, hay and a handful of grain. Chap's long black flowing locks are fairytale gorgeous! Ties, cross ties, baths, trailers, great for vet and farrier, and many fancy moves such as gate opening, side-passing and two-tracking. Lots of trail miles solo and in small groups. Mud, water, logs, bridges, wildlife and general terrain obstacles are no problem. Many away from home Western Dressage clinics, WDAA Shows thru Level 1 and camping trail rides. UTD on Coggins, vaccinations, dental and preliminary PPE. Chappy is best suited for an easy going confident experienced amateur who wants to dabble in Western Dressage/Traditional Dressage, enjoys trails and who appreciates a loyal friendly partner looking for a less demanding training regime. 2 - 3 rides a week works. I bought Chappy from my wife's trainer to ride with my wife, and I just don't have the time to spend with him (I have a 90 acre ranch to upkeep and run).
