Honey is 15 years old 14h. She loves trails and leads the pack. She does great in the arena also. She is a sensitive soul and loves attention and affection from her person. She was roped out in a field of lots of Icelandic friends and family and taken away from her herd. . She came to me untouched. I took a year with her to gain her trust before I tried to halter her. The fear in her eyes made me cry. We took 2 years with her training we went slow and it was wonderful. She stands for trimming, never had shoes on, loads, cross ties, and loves being groomed. Now several years have passed and she needs to have a person of her own again. I am old now and I don't want her to stand in a pasture when she could be the horse of someones dreams. Her story doesn't start or stop with me, she needs it continued with her new best friend. She has ponied another horse one time. She did well with it. So much more to tell about her but it will take a telephone conversation. Honey will not be sold to anyone that plans to house her in a box stall. She has lived in box stall with partially covered 70 foot paddock. Never shut in the stall. She goes out to pasture everyday year round {with the exception of snow days} Honey is not a burden to us and she is loved by us beyond measure. We do not have to sell her, but we feel we have to find her person. Honey is low on the pecking order. I have had her in the herd with boarder horses her whole life, and she has never kicked out at another horse. She is the shy one in a herd.
