COMET is a 2008, 15.2-hand heavy-built red roan dream horse. He is fancy broke, quick and responsive, hard-working and focused. He wants to please and will do ANYTHING you ask. You'll never enjoy a trail ride more than on the back of this beauty. He has a ton of leg and bone, and is solid, sane, and sound in every way. He has great feet and has been barefoot since I've owned him, but I just got a new set of shoes on him for this. He's UTD on shots, teeth, and worming. He is one tough mountain horse, and extremely sure-footed in any terrain. Ride him alone to check fences or collect a stray pair in a hail storm at night, or mosey with friends on a sunny trail ride to enjoy the views; Comet is the same ride every time. Ride him daily or lay him off for 3 months; Comet rides out steady and enthusiastically every time. He has done everything there is to do on a ranch, and Comet will give you his all, all day long, every day. The only negative about Comet, and the reason we are breaking our hearts by selling him, is that he can be rough on other geldings in a mixed herd. With mares alone, or with geldings alone, he is a gentleman, but put them together, and he wants to be the main man. Located in Fishtail, MT.
