🍁Daffy is a 14 year old, Haflinger/Belgian X, Mare, standing right around 15-15.1 hands. This girl has the best qualities from both breeds. She is substantial, making her suitable for a larger rider, and has a quiet brain, making her fun for anyone to enjoy. She has had amateurs on her, beginner kids for leadline rides, and she’s been a guest horse on the trail. This girl is as comfortable as sitting on a couch, and she has a rocking horse canter she’ll pick up from a walk. Whether you are out trail riding, or having fun in the ring, this girl is down for anything. She will go in Western or English tack, and is a total husband type horse. 🖤 🍁In the ring, Daffy will pick up both leads, slow trot or extend, pick up and go when asked, or relax and walk on the buckle. She’s not one you have to constantly kick, and she is the perfect in between of woah and go. She has no naughty behavior, and no mean bone in her! She’s willing to work, and happy to have a job. She’s taken care of everyone that sits on her, and is the same horse every time you pull her out. She’ll jump around little X rails in the ring, logs on the trail, and she’s even been XC schooling. She is honest and sensible. She has given pony rides to beginner kids, and it seems like she knows to be extra careful when there’s a little one on her. 🍁On the trail, Daffy is a super fun ride. She’s extremely sturdy, and sure footed. She is a total trail master, and there’s not much she hasn’t seen. She’s desensitized to bikes, deer, dogs, hikers, traffic, flags, and tarps. She will literally walk through fire! She’s been bareback swimming, over bridges, and will jump logs- large or small. She catches the eye everywhere she goes with her long mane and tail, floaty canter, and her sweet demeanor. She would be perfect for fox hunting, or to take on a paper chase. We plan to take her on a couple this month and next- unless she gets scooped up first. 🍁Daffy is a one of a kind girl, and a rare find. She has the sweetest personality, and is rarely mareish. She gets along with other mares, geldings, and she even babysits our 5 month colt! She has never kicked, bucked, reared, or bit, another horse or person. She stands on the crossties to bathe, tack, braid, groom, or just to be loved on. She is behaved in her stall, as well as for the dentist, vet, and farrier. She loads right onto the trailer, and she is the same horse off property. You can’t go wrong with this girl!
