My 5year old rides him w/t/c bareback in a halter. My son can do everything himself with him, he is safe as can be. He will pop over small cross rails. Traffic doesn’t bother him, we ride around our neighborhood. We’ve doubled on him. He can sit for months and rides the same every time. If you’re looking for a horse that’s trustworthy Archie is your guy! He stands dead still for mounting. Has a slow collected jog and canter but prefers walk/trot. He is more of a kick ride but will get up and go when asked. Good whoa. He rides in a snaffle on a loose rein. He is not fancy but he is reliable, kind and SAFE! Archie doesn’t move around while tacking up. Is easy to catch. Low man on the totem pole. Good hooves/barefoot. Up to date on coggins, dental, deworming, and farrier. Easy keeper. Doesn’t pace.
