Meet "Pepper," a 10 year old, 15h BLM-branded mustang mare from the Fish Creek HMA. Pepper is a SWEET "in-your-pocket" type that loves to be loved! Barefoot and sound with a pretty head and adorable personality. Quick learner with plenty of arena experience and ready to go in ANY direction! Currently in full-time training with a focus on dressage. Continue to ride her English (would be the cutest low-level dressage horse!), or make her your next trail horse or ranch class competitor!
Pepper was originally gentled by a renowned mustang trainer in Tucson, AZ with approximately 120 days of training. After coming to San Diego, Pepper began low-level dressage training with her current mom. Pretty mover with more "woah than go." Under saddle, she is safe and surefooted. Like most mustangs, however, she can be a little hesitant with new things--but bribe her with treats and kind reassurance, and she will do virtually anything you ask. She would therefore do best in a home with an intermediate rider, preferably with trainer guidance if you are not experienced with the breed. If she sounds like the horse you're after, you won't find a sweeter mare!
Pepper is currently located at a private facility in Lakeside, CA. Currently priced at 6️⃣,🥕🥕🥕 to increase with training. PPE's welcome at buyer's expense. Will convey with all of the current owner's vet records and BLM papers.
