Pope is an 14-year-old black sabino roan Missouri Fox Trotter gelding that stands at 15.1 hands. He has the most beautiful golden-brown eyes you will ever see. Pope is SOLID, SWEET, SMOOTH and SANE!
He loves people and sucks attention up like a sponge. He is more than happy to stand at liberty for pets and brushing. He will follow you anywhere.
Pope has a good mouth and a good mind. He will calmly trail walk with the stock horses, or gait on down the road with the other gaited horses. His canter is phenomenal and smooth as they come with great transitions. He will back readily. He will stand quietly for all kinds of foolishness on the part of “his human”.
Pope is traffic safe. He has been around kids, dogs, wildlife, farm equipment and bikes. He doesn’t care if you ride single or double, or even sidesaddle. He makes a fantastic ladder if you want to pick apples or cherries from some of the higher branches. He stands quietly at the mounting block, or you can crawl up from a stump, fence, or handy piece of equipment.
