For your consideration, Cochise is an approximately 17 year old, 15.1 hh, grade, buckskin paint gelding. Recently started on equioxx for mild age related arthritis. Could also be managed with occasional bute before long rides. He is as pretty as he is smart! He is a typical goofy, loving gelding and full of personality. He is best suited for an intermediate/advanced rider. Although he has packed beginners around in the arena (pony rides and independently) with no issues. Like most horses he does better when ridden regularly. He has a great mind and personality! His main job has been trail riding, but we haven't been on the trail in a couple years. He does excellent in the arena as well, which is mainly what we've been doing lately. He has been to cattle sortings, poker rides, obstacles course playdays and been camping a few times. He ties, stands for farrier, bathes and trailers great. No vices. Vaccines and dental done 3/2024. Currently barefoot, previously shod on the front when trail riding a lot. He crosses water and bridges confidently. He has gone out on the trail alone or in small groups. He is looking for a new home at no fault of his own (financial situation).
