2013 Buckskin gelding 15.0 hands “Boogie” is a handsome dude that will steal your heart with his kind personality! Check out his royal pedigree, he is by Spooks Gotta Whiz out of an own daughter of Shining Spark. Boogie is a very easy going gelding with a nice handle in the arena. He is sure footed and brave over obstacles both in and out of the arena. He opens and closes gates easily, walks over logs, bridges etc. He is a mountain goat out in steep terrain and carefully picks his way through tricky footing. Boogie really enjoys going out on trails and is fine to go out either by himself or in groups. He has been used on the ranch to gather cattle and been roped off of in the branding pen as well. He has excellent ground manners, stands tied quiet, good for a bath and clipping etc. Hauls well, ponies other horses and is good with other horses in his space. He really is a pleasure to have in the barn with a “meet you at the gate” personality. Boogie is best suited for an intermediate rider as he is not a total deadhead. The only reason a great gelding like this is available is sadly his owner is getting out of horses.
