Giselle opitimizes all the qualities of a nice TB. Raced once as a 2 yr old. I picked her up in Kentucky last year and have bought her along slowly with lots of groundwork and trail riding in the mountains. She is strong, sound and has 3 good gaits. Intelligent, willing character. Nice flat bone and 4 good feet. No vices except for being a bit weary of strangers touching her - I think from being beaten in the stall as a racehorse. I have jumped her on the longe - she is willing, steady and careful with good form. Ideally suited to bring along as an event horse (she loves going out and about), she has excellent movement for the dressage, very willing to be forward. Her training with me has been sponsored by the Center for Equine Awareness which is a 501 c3 non profit and I have specifically trained her in my Equine-Humanistics program to develop a groundwork system to help retired racehorses. The funds from her sale go back into the program to help the next TB.
