We absolutely love this horse!
Pros:
He is dead broke.
Only spooks to close gun shots.
He is sweet.
Great at slant loading.
Great for the ferrier.
Big strong hooves.
No shoes needed.
He communicates well.
He has a kind eye.
He is beautiful.
Great with goats, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats.
Cons:
He is hard on fences. Will do great in an electric fence or gated set up.
He is dominant and food driven, but not bad. The goats eat with him. He will make other horses stay back while he eats.
He is stubburn.
He requires confidence with a gentle hand when riding.
He has a hitch in his get along that was there when we got him. We will explain more if interested.
He does great for a lighter rider.
My 9 year old son is currently learning to be confident with him so that Willy will listen to him.
We are selling him because we need a horse that I can ride - my son isn't very interested in riding much.
Willy is capable of so much more (within his limits) than we can provide for him.
