Heart and grit with no quit are just a few words that describe Felix. This is a hard one for us to list, he made himself family shortly after getting him over 2 years ago. If he was a human, he’d give you the shirt off his back.

Felix is a 2019 AQHA, bay, gelding, standing 15.2HH. He’s been our right hand man when it comes to a job needing done.

We have used Felix the past 2 years to work. Hes roped, ponied, and halter broke some rank colts. We have roped and doctored a few steer from him. Felix has also been used to gather loose stock in heavily wooded areas and creek bottoms. He’s has sorted some.

Felix is the kind of horse who will go over, under, or through anything you point him at without any questions. This horse has absolutely no quit and is all heart. When you are working colts from him, you can put him right where you need him every time. He’s consistently where you need him every time.

Felix is very broke, and rides in a full bridle. He takes his leads, does lead changes, side passes, and has a nice gentle turn- around. He drags and holds rope with the best of them. He has ponied some large colts and taken some big jerks. More recently his focus has been on working horses, so he may need tuned in a little doctoring.

Felix is not suitable for a beginner, he’s a power house and enjoys having a job to do. When you swing a leg over him he’s all business, and lazy is not in his vocabulary (he’s not hot either). He is sound.
