If you want a gelding that’s as friendly as a house dog, will trail ride in the mountains for 10 hours straight and come home and rope in the arena then take a look at Cedar. We have owned Cedar since he was 2, he is super friendly, easy going and loves attention. I have used him roping and tagging newborns in the pasture, pushed cattle at s.a.l.e. barn, lots of roping the dummy both head and heel side, roping in the arena both head and heel side, we have taken him to Colorado and Wyoming and gone on all day rides in rugged terrain in the high mountains and he never missed a beat. Cedar neck reins, moves off your feet, side pass, rides bareback, open/close gates, rides bridleless, packs, hobbles, ties, bathes, stands for the farrier, trailers, no issues. He is up to date on all vaccinations and dental work, shoes every 6 weeks. Cedar will easily be someone’s forever horse, we get a new batch of colts every year that I start and train so I need to focus on the younger ones and we just can’t keep them all, so we’re offering Cedar to a good home.
