Grits is a 13 Y.O registered Tennessee Walking horse has been there and done that, many, many times over with a great temperament, he in the middle of the pack but not a push over , gets along with his pasture mates. Easy keeper, eats any grass you put in front of him and gain. He is easy to catch, come right to me on lip whistle and good with the farrier
This horse is super smooth in all gaits with a great canter ( contact me for video). Grits is sure footed, he is used primarily to handle bird dogs in field trials, I have judge, scout, gallery and road dogs off him, he is gun broke and does ground tie. He will go anywhere you point him, cross water, chase down animals without a fuss and he is tough.
Grits can be shod or walk on barefoot, currently he is wearing new front shoes. He has many a mile on the trail , in the woods and working on the prairie, he practically will loads himself in trailer by himself. Any one can stay in a saddle or a confident beginner will benefit the best from this horse. He is current on all vaccine and Coggins. Contact me for recent videos
