“Beans" - 14.2H, 9 year old chestnut quarter horse gelding. We get calls every week, for "just-a-horse", you know, just to trail ride, just to live at the house, just for guests, just for a once a year event or group trail ride. Well, if you have been hunting that "just-a-horse", this is your guy. Beans is nothing fancy at all - just a horse - but a good one and he's sure pretty too! He is sweet natured, friendly, and docile - he would love to be someone's pet and just hang out. His good looks sure don't hurt him! He has a unique, fancy dark chestnut/brown color, and just enough chrome to stand out, but still looks classic. He has huge bone and is stout as they make one - the rider in this video is over 6' and ALL LEG - he should be able to carry just about any sized rider, but he is still a nice comfy easy to saddle and easy to get on and off of size! He has been on a ranch most of his life and has been used to check lots of cattle and fence lines. He has been roped off of a little too, but he's not very fast. He rides on a big loose draping rein and he is always eager to stop on whoa, has a super comfy little shuffle jog to him, and a nice lope. He is pleasant to ride out, and enjoys going places and pays attention where he puts his feet. He rides like he's been out a time or two before! Just a good ol' boy that is no nonsense, chill, and happy to be here. He loves getting in the water and falls asleep for a bath! He lives out in a big pen with several others and is a very easy keeper, he's on a light ration and still looks like a million bucks! He has front shoes on and was just shod last week, and had his teeth done by an equine dentist last month.
