Meet Duders, He's my handsome red roan, 16yo grade quarter horse originally ranch broke out west. This guy looks like a police officer. :) Duders has done 4h, trails, open road, you name it. He is a very smart and confident boy, and in the rare occasion he does get startled, he SPOOKS IN PLACE, always taking care of his rider! Always. That, to me, makes him worth his weight in gold. He's had every passenger from itty-bitty to grandma's. This guy knows how to take a joke, and has tolerated all the shenanigans I have thrown at him, from pretending I can rope to cowing wild horses. Duders has so many buttons and is a quick study to any additional buttons you may care to add. He can be ridden bit, hack, bareback, western, english, and loves to be a leader. I have tethered many a different horse to him and he thrives at showing them "how its done." He is top of the pecking order among pasture mates. Make no mistake, I LOVE THIS HORSE and it is with a heavy heart that I admit I just don't have the time he deserves. You will find him to be a very easy keeper and has great "feet". He is beautifully built and has always been sound for me and will go anywhere barefoot. Id really like him to go to someone who is going to use him, he's too fab a horse to have him loafing out in the pasture. He prefers pasture over being stalled and keeps his weight on stable pro, pasture, and hay. If I had to pick a "flaw" the absolute only thing I could say is that he is food motivated, so a scoop of grain in the hand is the way to call him in for a ride. No need to lunge this guy, just get on and go! Thank you for taking the time to read about my awesome guy. Please SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY! call/text: 517-260-8713 Pictures available upon request. THANK YOU.
