If you want gentle, well broke and good to look at, take a llook at Partenr!!! Partner is an 11 yr old 14.3 hand palomino Quarter Horse gelding that is stout enough to carry any size rider. Partner is well trained both in and out of the arena . He has a smooth walk, trot and slow canter and picks up both his leads and is super soft in the bridle. He neck reins, side passes, and is responsive to leg cues. We have taken Partner on miles of trails, over logs, through water and in all kinds of rough terrain. He goes wherever you point him! We have also taken Partner down the main highway into town to run errands and he doesn't mind any of the traffic. We have exposed Partner to bouncy balls, flapping tarps and all kinds of obstacles and he takes it like another day at the park. We have hauled Partner to state parks for day rides and have also used him to push cattle. Partner was used on a ranch doctoring and pushing cattle so he knows what a days work is like. Partner has also had reining training making him handy as a pocket knife! Partner spins both ways and has a HUGE stop. Partner does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. Partner stands for the farrier and to be mounted and tacked up and washed. Partner is up to date on farrier, dewormer, and had his teeth done in June.
