Tessa is a great mare that has served our family well the last five years. Tessa has been owned by two families who have invested a lot of time in her training. As a result, she is very reliable, knows her job, is respectful on the ground and in saddle. She is an all around mare who excels in the arena as well as on the trail. She has been exposed to many situations including river crossings, bison, deer, bears, arena shows, cattle, ropes, and all the hub-bub of a show grounds. She has been successfully shown in 4-H, school equestrian team, ranch horse assn., trail, trail obstacle, dressage, and hunter u/s. She would be a wonderful horse for an older rider looking to enjoy many trail miles or shows. She would suit a a new/inexperienced rider starting out taking lessons. She's been ridden in TN, SD, MI, IN, IL on many different trail types including Hell Canyon trail in SD. She's just about as good a horse as you could hope to find.
