Tonopah is a coming 6 year old gentle mustang gelding has been there done that. I started him and cowboyed off him in Idaho and he has since been with me to ranches in Oregon, Wyoming and now South Dakota. He has made big circles in rough, steep country. The mountains of Wyoming all the way down to making long hot circles in the Oregon desert. Tonopah is more whoa than go, but I have doctored lots of cattle on him from little calves to yearling to full grown bulls. Tonopah has good hard mustang feet, is broke to hobbles, and has had his feet worked on often. My wife rides him a lot and when we have visitors Tonopah is the gentle steed we trust them with. Being only 5 coming 6 he is not yet finished but well on his way. I’ve recently started riding him in a shanked curb bit and he’s coming along great. Would be a great step up horse for kid looking to advance, could be your next sure footed trail riding partner that you could drag a few calves to the branding iron next spring. Man pictured is 6’2 for size reference and was main rider of Tonopah
