20 years young registered Missouri Fox Trotter for sale. I bought this guy a year ago for my daughter after listening to her beg for years for her own horse. Well, she got her wish, but her interest in the horse has faded and now we need to give him a new home so he can do what he loves with a true horse person. He is a very chill, been there, done that type of guy. He loves getting groomed and doesn't mind the clippers or spray. He stands to have his hair brushed and braided without having to be tied. He is good for the farrier. He is easy to catch and isn't buddy sour. He doesn't bite, kick, or rear. He has been around cows, chickens, sheep, goats, pigs, and dogs. He has an amazing 4 beat gait and can ride for miles and miles. He loves trail riding and isn't afraid of crossing water. He was once used as a lesson horse and is husband and children safe. Nothing spooks this guy, except wind "ghosts". He is blind in his right eye, but that doesn't stop him from being a safe and willing horse. He's 14.3 hands tall and grows a nice thick winter coat and we rarely put his blanket on him. He is not pampered pansy barn horse. He is a pasture horse and he loves it. We will be very picky about where he goes, as even though my daughter has lost interest in riding she still loves this horse.
