Casper has been my main mount for the past 6 years, but my 4yo who is more my size and style is ready to tale over his job. Casper ropes, drags logs, ponies, gives lessons, and will go almost anywhere you point him. I've taken him to the dollar store many times, about 2.5 miles away, and no traffic rattles him. He prefers to be regularly worked and loves to work. I would not be scared to put almost anyone on him under supervision and have used him as a buddy for nervous horses, as well as roped a couple hard to catch rescues. You can't make him go lame if you try. Gets along fine with mares, likes to wrestle with my other gelding but just playing. Keeps himself clean with some dark magic, will roll in mud and then be clean the next time you turn around. Easy to catch, very gentle and loving. I will not sell him as a barrel horse to anyone who isn't very experienced as he is crazy when he sees the barrels unless you throw a kid up on him on a leadline. He hates poles. Pretty gaits but not very comfortable compared to the morgans. Loves the farrier and the vet, loads and unloads great, and tolerates 90% of shenanigans.
