Poncho is a barn favorite!
On the ground: he is kind, gentle, personable, and patient. He ground ties patiently and stands nicely while being groomed. He's to catch every time! He is calm and curious around kids and is just a nice relaxed horse to be around. He trailers great and stands perfectly for the farrier.
In the saddle: Poncho is easy to get along with in the arena and on the trail. He's been roped off of, carried flags at the rodeo, and carried kids around. Snaffle or bridle: he does beautifully in both. He rides off of your seat and has a great little stop on him. He's equally fun to lope in the arena as he is to trot down a trail. He's not fussy about other horses one bit and has had really well-rounded exposure to experiences and training in this last year. He just had 60 days put on him in July/August and was ridden in a clinic in August as well.
