Val is a sweet and attractive 15.3h 11yo dapple bay thoroughbred mare. She is easy to handle and ride at the walk and trot. She struggles cantering under saddle which is why she is being sold. She generally gets along well with other horses, crossties, trailers, clips and lunges. She is familiar with trot poles and crossrails. She has been successfully shown at Paso Robles Horse Park in spring of 2024 in the walk trot and poles division with a teen. Does well in the show environment overall. Would work well in a lesson program as a walk trot group lesson horse. Wears front shoes only. Easy to blanket and tack up, not overly mare-ish or buddy sour. Fine being ridden in the open, on the trail, not especially spooky for a thoroughbred. Injections aren't needed, we tried them and they didn't help her in the canter, our vet said she's just built straight behind. Very pretty face, nice coat, in good weight.
