owner is downsizing and he has been on tune up this summer improving on his slow down. Was raised by a man that used him for working cattle and his ranch.
Has had 30 days of training with Davies mounted police.
Utd, trimmed, front shoes, floated, coggins and health certificate.

Stands to mount, saddle, bathe, farrier, loads like a breeze. Point him and go kind of horse, he direct and indirect reins. NOT FOR BEGINNER He is a 123 leg/button western horse and needs an experienced rider in such. If you don't know what im talking about you willl not be able to ride him, as you willl only confuse him. Does have more go but needs to light ride* (see bottom of ad)
An older experienced horse person that just wants to ride trails and enter parades is what trigger needs.

Not scared of anything, the owner has equipment all over the farm running and dogs. Water doesn't phase him and he can ride alone or in a group.
I've had dogs the size of bears come running at him barking and he absolutely keeps his cool.

He did not become a mounted police horse only due to the fact even though completely sound now and during training, his ppe showed a bone chip and some forming arthritis in his front left pastern. Due to no fault of his own he is looking to be a light trail horse instead of an on the pavement cop which would bring on lameness in the future. He will def be happy being someone's bombproof trail riding horse though with light riding twice a week. Vet would have passed him for regular riding but not working all the time on the beach and standing on pavement. Ppes are welcome and i have current xrays. Xrays available Maintenance would be equioxx and front bar shoes, totally worth it for an amazing safe ride. (Bar shoes are to lift him up off his heels and relieve pressure on front pasterns with osteoporosis increasing longevity)
