Looking for a stellar trail riding partner who is just getting started in her career? Look no further!
As a yearling Xena competed in the in hand Teens and Oregon Mustang Challenge and since then prior to being started under has been very well exposed to many different environments.
This young mare has all the potential to be a stellar trail horse. She just finished 120 days of training under saddle, and has proven to be brave, quiet, and is a joy to ride outside. Xena has been on many trail rides already including the beach! She crosses water, bridges, ditches, and seems to handle any obstacle with ease. She can comfortably drag a log, and maneuver a gate under saddle.
Xena also has a nice handle in the arena, knows how to transition from walk/trot/canter, has a nice stop, back, sidepass, haunch/forehand turns, etc. She is very much more whoa than go, and can take some encouragement going forward at times in the arena, but I can’t think of a more safe, sane, and tolerant 3 year old. I would say she is beginner rider safe under experienced guidance- rare to find in a horse so young!
Xena has a bright future ahead of her and is looking for her partner to shine with her!
