Hooey is a quiet minded, super kind and gentle horse that thrives on the trail! Definitely more whoa than go. True story, we had border patrol mounted unit come out to look at him and basically accused us of sedating Hooey because he is just that chill!! But you give him a trail and he perks right up and responds well! Hooey has only partnered on trails and not sure how he would do alone. He is extremely desensitized and doesn't spook hardly ever.
Hooey is very green in the arena and flat out doesn't like being in an arena. He will fight you every step of the way if you make him try. We have had 3 experienced riders on him and they all said he is not athletic. Hooey has great feet! Good with fly masks and slow feeders. He is 5yo, 15.2 hands and still has room to grow. No injections or injuries. Last float was February. Loves to graze and will shove his face in your armpit for attention/snuggles. We are selling Hooey because we don't have as much access to trails as we once did and this horse won't move his feet in an arena. *TRAIL & COMPANION HORSE*
