Misty is our 4 year old, Bay, Grade Quarter horse mare. She stands at just under 14 hands. Misty came to us a couple of years ago to train and resell. She has done well in our training program and it’s time for her to find her person! Great ground manners, she ground ties, stands to tack up and mount without fuss. To say she’s handy is an understatement, and she loves working cattle. She does best when she has a job to do, work keeps her consistent. She’s dependable to go out and get her work done efficiently. We have roped cows off her, sorted cattle and worked calves. She has not been shown. She would excel in a feed lot operation or on a working ranch. She has been in the arena and on trails, including overnight, no issues crossing creeks, logs, steep hills, etc. She has a motor when you ask, the stamina to work, but stops on a dime and isn’t pushy on the bit. Rides off your seat, neck reins and side passes easily. W/T/C transitions are smooth and willing. She does best with an intermediate rider who will be familiar with a horse who has lighter aids. She is generally ridden in a snaffle, unless we decide to take her bridle off and show off a bit. No vices, no prior injuries. She is a bit mareish but not aggressive or mean. She travels easily, and she is very experienced with those tarp monsters and evil plastic bags. She is ready to take on ranch and cattle working, more trails, or try her out at a Ranch Show! All the hard work has been done, now it’s time to have some fun! Asking $7500. Call to setup a day/time to come see her!
