Meet Tucker! A stunning silver dapple Rocky Mountain Horse gelding. Tucker is 11 years old, stands 14.2 hands and is as easy to be around as he is to look at. He comes from exceptional old breeding and was bred, born and raised on our farm.
Professionally trained over 90+ days by the talented Megan Zapel of Solid Rock Performance Horses. Tucker has been exposed to a variety of terrain and has a great foundation. Naturally gaited but is not "locked in gait." Needs refinement in that area. He leads, loads, backs out of the trailer, hauls well, fly sprays, accepts dewormer, picks up feet for the farrier, tacks up without a fuss and will safely stand tied for days. He has the temperament for any level of rider BUT would pair best with a confident leader as he gains hours under saddle and grows in his own experience. This sweet and easy going guy loves his people and is looking for a new partner. Our life is changing and we are getting out of horses for now. He has not been in regular work since being trained. We have young children and my time is short. A great home is a must!
