Apollo is a big, beautiful 10 year old 16.3H Iberian warmblood gelding. His sire is a big black PRE Andalusian who was imported from Spain. His dam is an American Warmblood. Well bred and a beautiful mover. He is super sweet, easy to catch cause he’s all up in your business 😊 in a good way. He is amazing on trails not scared of anything. Lots and lots of miles in the mountains. He’s ponied green horses in the trails. Carries big saddle bags that can flop all over and he could care less. Crosses water, bridges, logs and anything else you point him at. We have ridden him at the beach in the water. He’s was recently ridden in a 4th of July parade and he carried the flag. He will go all day. Very forward and fun to ride. Not for the faint of heart as he is a big mover so we recommend a confident intermediate or above rider. We have mostly ridden him western but I could see him excel with training in cross country, jumping, dressage, 3 day eventing. He has a nice walk, trot, lope and stop. He moves off your leg. We ride him in a full cheek snaffle. We have also taken him to a few gaming shows for fun and he did great. This awesome boy can do it all. Not spooky or reactive. We purchased him about 5 years ago for our daughter to be her up and coming jumper but she switched directions to gaming and barrel racing so we started trail riding him and that’s what we have mostly done with him as well as some arena work. We have popped him over a few small jumps and he seemed to enjoy it and was very willing. He has great ground manners. He loads and hauls great. Hops right in the trailer. We have kept him in a big pasture with several other horses and he seems to be on the higher end of the totem pole but did fine. He has also been stalled with daily turn out so he’s comfortable with both living situations. Only selling because he’s an extra horse for us and he deserves more one on one attention. He’s such a nice boy ! He is healthy and UTD on all. He has nice big hard feet. We are NOT interested in leases, trials, trades or payments. PPE’s welcome at buyers expense.
