5-year old 16.2 hh probably finish growing at 16.3 Westfalen chestnut mare by Lotus T out of TB mare “Gold Diggin Gal”. Luci is a sweet girl with a quiet disposition who enjoys time with her partner, she loves to be groomed and doted on. Loads, ties, baths and working on clipping. Does well for chiropractor, Easy keeper, great solid feet! UTD on teeth, shots and deworming. Goes in a heard or in a paddock.
She has a nice walk and trot, canter being her best and favorite. She truly has that soft rocking horse canter anyone can sit. She is bold and not afraid of crossbars and ground poles. Shows promise as a jumper or hunter under saddle type. Possible low-level dressage as she gets older, but you can tell the jumps spark her interest.
She was started late due to a surgery when she was 3 years old (she has been vetted and cleared for any discipline, owner willing to show all vet records to serious buyers). Had basic riding for about a year with a teen before she came to me July 2024. She has been an easy 5-year-old to bring along, her biggest hiccup is being weak from having stall rest as a foal (not being able to run and move as a baby to develop muscles). She is smart and willing and has easy lead changes on the lunge line and a R-L change already under saddle. She will test you like any 5-year-old by acting like her feet are stuck but very easy and uncomplicated to show her as she is willing. Under saddle we work on her straightness of her shoulders, how to move forward freely and on the aids. When she was younger her owner took her to indoor trail courses and off property trails to be ponied.
Owner has life changes and needs to reduce horses and would like a quick uncomplicated sale of this girl. Owner is willing to show all vet records to serious buyer. If she is still for sale in the spring and in training her price may go up as she develops and starts jumping. USEF Lifetime Status
