Talented jumper and nice mover. He is smart and brave, and I think he would excel as an eventer, jumper, or possibly TB hunters.
He has about 4 months of training after a break from racing. Ruffy has good ground manners, is good for farrier and vet, self loads and stands quietly on the trailer. He doesn’t have naughty habits like bucking, rearing, bolting, or spooking. He is sound, but he does have mild arthritis in both front fetlocks. Has good feet; currently shod in front only while a small crack from last year grows out, but he IS sound without shoes.
Asking 5,000 but open to ALL offers. I love this horse and wish he would work out for me, but at this point in my life I don’t have time for such a green horse. He’s schooled XC twice at Majestic Oaks and was a superstar. He has not been to any shows.
