Handsome & Elegant: 6yr Old, Dark Bay, 16.2H, OTTB Gelding with a Blaze and 3 white socks. I have had "Ranger" since he was 4 yrs old. Under the supervision of my trainer, "Ranger" has been slowly restarted, as he went thru several growing phases: at least gained 2ins in Height and 120-150lb of muscle with the potential of gaining more muscle with continued training. The goal was to put a great foundation on him that wasn't rushed. "Ranger" has 3 lovely soft gaits, has great movement that is eye catching in the show ring, with a wonderful brain and a goofy puppy-dog like personality. "Ranger" has been off property for shows and stayed tied to the trailer with no issues. "Ranger" is currently barefoot, his feet are in excellent shape, no vices, low spook, and UTD with shots, coggins, etc. I am selling "Ranger" due to his size- I am very short (5ft 2in), and the potential for him to get even larger will be difficult for me to manage. "Ranger" also was diagnosed with mild kissing spine: it is managed with once a year back injections (which is cheaper than hock & stifle injections) regular chiropractic/acupuncture care and incorporating long & low stretching exercises both lunging and under saddle . "Ranger" is currently at a barn that has a lesson program and has been ridden by a variety of riders- highly recommend for an AA or intermediate riders and up. "Ranger" would make a great cross-country horse as he loves to hack and jump and/or any Dressage, Fox-Hunting, Hunters, or English type riding. His potential is limitless- come finish him your way!
