Cuervo is a 10yr old titled BLM mustang off the Stone Cabin, NV HMA. He stands 14.2HH and has thick bone and a strong build. When I tell you, you won’t find a better trail stead I mean it! Cuervo is an absolute blast to ride long rides with your friends, or adventure alone. Being raised out in the steep terrain he is the epitome of sure footed and SAFE! He will travel through literally anything and never take a wrong step. He navigates through steep drops, rushing rivers, tree limbs, and rocks like a dream. Cuervo loves to go explore and always is the best mannered guy. He can lead the pack, stay in the middle, follow up the hind, or venture off alone and he will be content in any situation. Nothing phases him, he stays sane and quiet in all scenarios. We have carried flags, gone over tarps, and he is a natural pro at the trail course obstacles. Cuervo never refuses, or bocks at anything. He is the most willing, calm minded horse I have ever been around. We have also exposed him to roping and cattle and he has taken a liking to it and shows promise! He respects leg pressure, has the lightest touch neck rein handle, knows his leads and has pretty circles in the arena. He has an easy stop and reverses with light pressure. This guy can be left off and never change his sweet calm demeanor. He has no spook, no buck and no bolt making him a choice for any level rider. Cuervo always stands patiently tied for tacking, grooming and bathing. He will let you clip every hair on his body, face and ears no problem. Cuervo stands amazing for the farrier and has GREAT solid black feet that are easily maintained. He can load up in the trailer all by himself and back out easily. He’s been pastured with multiple horses or stalled alone. He doesn’t get buddy OR barn sourness. Cuervo is the definition of fun, safe and sane! If you’re a person wanting to be competitive in trail versatility competitions this is the guy for you! He would also accommodate anyone just wanting to maximize their joy of riding!
