AVAILABLE ON ONLINE HORSE AUCTION AT www DOT MagicHorseAuction DOT com BIDDING OPEN NOW thru TUESDAY | NOVEMBER 26th. *Final price will be determined on auction site* CONSIGNOR CONTACT: Kate Shavalier 231 670 7101 LOCATION: Newaygo MI AGE: 3 Shilstone Doublehawk is his registered name we just call him Hawkeye. He’s a registered Morgan Gelding 3 yrs old and standing at 15 hands tall still growing yet. Hawkeye is everything a good Morgan should be he has the friendly puppy dog personality. He also has the brains he learns things quickly and doesn’t forget. He has that ready and willing to please attitude. He has a lot of experience under his cinch already and ready to keep going in any direction you want. Hawkeye is a horse with a full history his Dad who was foundation bred was an awesome stallion and lived to a ripe old age of 28 yrs old until he unfortunately passed away unexpectedly. But before he passed away he met Hawkeyes mother a driving/trail horse and of course they fell in love and Hawkeye was born in the spring of 2021. At 2 yrs old Hawkeye decided to make his own way in the world and so he started his driving career. He was started lightly under harness and hooked a few times to the cart and driven lightly. He then decided to give it a rest and take a little time off to grow up some more. And after a little time off he decided to try his hand at ranching so he was started under saddle and did a little bit of roping and ranch work. But then he decided to try his hoof at another career and so he struck it out on the trails and fell in love with all the Michigan scenery so he has been hoofing it as a trail horse crossing the creeks, rivers, logs, and bridges carrying his poor lazy humans to new horizons. But on a more serious note Hawkeye was first started under harness and was driven lightly and he did amazing a lot better than most 2 yr olds. He was NEVER spooky about traffic and he still doesn’t care a bit about the traffic. He never offered up anything crazy under harness and just did an awesome job at it. He was given some time off to finish growing some more, but we did hook him a couple of times this year and he remembers everything, but he still needs more miles under cart and harness until he’s finished out that way. He’s had more time in the saddle than harness. But when we hooked him up this year he stood still for hitching, getting on/off the cart and good at the stop signs. He didn’t mind any of the traffic and we did pass a couple construction vehicles and he was fine with everything. So given more time under cart and harness he will finish out to be a very nice driving horse. Under saddle he’s awesome rides right between the legs and off of your seat. He’s a joy to ride and has more brains than horses twice his age. He does NOT have any bad habits or vices and has NEVER offered to do anything crazy. He has a good level headed mind and he really is a favorite of mine to work with. He’s willing to please and extremely sm
