Knox is a gorgeous 8-year-old registered gelding that is uncomplicated and easy for anyone to ride. He has been ridden both English and western, used for lessons, ridden in parades and carried a flag, shows with loud music and large crowds - you name it and Knox has probably done it! We have shot a bow off of him, he has been around gunfire and was not bothered at all, and absolutely shines on the trail. Barking dogs, screaming kids, rollerbladers - none of it bothers Knox. We have also swung a rope off of him and dragged logs off of him; this horse is really just unbothered by pretty much anything. He has packed around beginners, has more whoa than go, and is a complete puppy dog who would love to just hang out with you. Knox knows both leads, is very soft in the bridle and has a lovely long stride and pretty movement, moves off of your leg easily in leg yield, and turns on the forehand and haunches. He has smooth gaits and is happy to jog, but is easy to lengthen the trot or lope as well. Trailers well, loves a bath, and will stand tied all day. Show him in western dressage one weekend and take him on a long trail ride the next - the possibilities are endless with this unicorn of a horse. He’s up to date on all vaccines, teeth and sheath, and was just trimmed. He has fantastic hard feet and does not require shoes and is completely sound. Asking $18,500, open to reasonable offers.
