“SendN Royal Chex” is a 2015 AQHA gelding standing at 14.2 hands. Affectionately known as “Chex,” he has proven himself in various disciplines including showing, ranch work, gymkhana, ranch sorting, and team penning. He has also excelled in reining and ranch versatility events, accumulating points and earnings like a seasoned competitor. Chex has demonstrated his versatility by roping in the arena and assisting with starting colts and ponying other horses without any difficulties.
This all-around gelding is consistently eager to please and displays no signs of being fresh or cold-backed. He responds exceptionally well to seat and leg cues, and he is soft in the bridle or bosal. Chex is best suited for a confident intermediate rider who possesses a solid understanding of horsemanship. He exhibits excellent ground manners, making him easy to catch, bathe, load, haul, and saddle. There are no issues with cinchiness or unexpected behavior. While he may show curiosity towards new experiences, he has never exhibited bucking or bolting tendencies.
Chex thrives in pasture settings and respects hot wire fencing. He is an easy keeper, enjoying both alfalfa and grass hay. His hooves are in excellent condition, and he remains calm for the farrier, typically requiring only a trim unless he is preparing for a show, at which point he wears sliders on his hind feet.
