2017 APHA gelding, grandson of the great Hollywood Dun It! Stands a stout 15 hands tall. This guy is a blast to ride, he wants to be fancy and is responsive and easy to ride. He would be lovely for western dressage, he rides so soft and is very responsive. Rafiki has also been trail ridden a lot and is no stranger to different types of terrain, he will cross and tackle whatever is thrown his way. He has also been lightly started around the barrels just trotting and seems to enjoy that quite a bit! This guy can really go any direction you want. Doesn’t get fresh with time off, just hop on and go!
Rafiki has great ground manners, he stands tied quietly, bathes, braids, great for the farrier, loads and hauls. He does have one quirk, which is he is ear shy. We just unbuckle his headstall to put it on, and he does well with that! Just got new shoes on last week as well.
