Finnick is a 16.2hh Irish Draught gelding out of RID Flag of Diamonds. He demonstrates the legacy of his cross country breeding as a Novice packer with Training miles. He has evented up to Training level with a young rider. He started with an 11 year old in the irons and they have grown together up the levels. He has solid training and clinics with the pros like a boss. He finished his exciting season well including coming in fit and happy in the N3D at the Event at Rebecca Farms in July ’24. Finnick has evented, show jumped, competed in dressage and fox hunted. He loved Fox Hunting including calm with the dogs, horns and the excitement.
Finnick is a sweet boy with a lot of patience and loyalty and is eager to please. He stands tied in any configuration ( including overnight camping on a high line), clips, bathes, easy for farrier, vet, loads easy, trailers in any spot. He currently lives happily in a mixed herd, he is good in stalls and pastures, chill in a show stall. He jumps over any ditch, into water, up/down banks and will jump out of any place you put him. He hacks out alone or in a group and babysits the anxious horses on trail rides. Hacks along roads, in forests and fields.
We have done preventative maintenance as he moved up the levels and only added shoes this year for his move up to the long format and Training. He has received body work, chiropractic and PEMF to support his athleticism.
A five star home is a must. He would be a dream come true for a young rider or adult amateur who wanted a long term partner to carry them through the levels of eventing and have fun.
