9 year old AQHA mare that anyone can ride! More whoa than go, especially in the arena, picks up leads, side passes, great stop, backs great. Stands tied anywhere. Loads in anything. VERY respectful on the ground.
Stands to mount, great with mounting block. I generally use a snaffle but she goes in anything. Works great off legs and verbal cues. Generally need spurs! She's smart and responsive but will take advantage of being lazy if she can. Soft mouth.
Shoes, bathes, clips, crosses water and logs. NO buck, bite, kick. GREAT around kids and with kids. Unflappable. Meets you at the gate. High lines, hobbles, carries anyone, climbs about anything you point her at without rushing, won't leave you in the middle of no where if you fall off. Great alone or in groups.
I've had her since she was born and have primarily taken her trail riding all over the western US. Reason for selling is I am heading back to school and don't have the time for her, and she is so broke she's fairly boring. IF she sits for a few months, does best with a quick lunge as she'll crow hop if it's really cool out- lunges great. "Clinton Anderson Method".
She would excel with someone learning to ride at a stable/barn or trail riding!
