Incredibly smooth 10 year old GRADE Quarter horse/Andalusian cross gelding. This little guy is in 4 wheel drive all. the. time. Neck reins, works off legs, picks up leads, gets excited and struggles to stand still occasionally but absolutely zero buck/rear. Same horse every time you take him out, even with months off. Always excited to go out, ties anywhere, goes ALL day. Loads in anything. His favorite pace is a slow heavenly lope. I always get asked if he's gaited because his lope it's so smooth and slow. Head is always naturally set. Loose rein. Out walks all other horses on the trails. I bought Pedro two years ago because he was just cool. Collected, does best on trails as the lead horse. Can go in the back or in the mix but can get really jiggy occasionally when he follows if the pace is slow. Does excellent alone on trails. Would truly excel in endurance. I have taken him out for hours upon hours in the day and he never changes; he has grit and enjoys everything he is asked to do. This is probably the best personality of horse I have ever had. The guy before me said he used him as a pick up horse for the race track horses. He has a motor and will cruise. Works of verbal cues and legs, neck reins. Nice stop. Rides collected and level headed for me. You can load him up with any sort of clothing/saddle/back cinch/parka/saddle bags/blankets, whatever you feel like packing along/wearing - steady as a rock. He would do best for someone who is intermediate+ who is fairly handy. NO buck, just quick thinker and mover. Worst thing he does is if he gets really worked up he goes sideways. I'm headed back to school and don't have time for him. I've ridden a lot of horses and this little horse is fun. He's in my top 5 for easy, quick, take off alone and just feel safe. He will be a blast for someone who has the time to ride more. **Lost some of his marbles when I tried to shave a bridle path when I first got him. Wasn't a big deal for me so I've never clipped him or worked with him on it.
