2016 14.0h German Riding Pony (SF Spirit o/o VPrSt Morton’s Pretty Kitty - Rosedale Top Cat) - This has been one of the most fun and easy ponies; Tannin has been in our program from the very start of his under saddle career and has been brought along almost solely by junior riders under a trainer’s guidance, with just a barest handful of professional rides. Exceptional movement that always takes a top hack prize and a consistently beautiful and correct jump that always catches the judge’s eye. Incredibly brave and will jump absolutely anything from any distance and do it with style. Not offended by mistakes and will keep trucking around. Limited, but successful show miles through the rated Large Pony Hunters and most recently swapped over to play in the jumper ring, bringing home the win in the $1,000 Puddle Jumper Classic for both pony and kid’s first times in that arena. Unlimited scope and stride, Tannin never has trouble getting down the lines and has so far schooled to 3’3 with no signs of it being even remotely challenging.
