Dusty is a big (16.1), gorgeous boy. He is the same horse if you ride him every day or once every few months. He has APHA ROMs/Superior in Halter and points in Ranch Riding. Dusty is easy to set up and is good at Showmanship. He has nice reach in front and rear and is a good pattern horse. He works well off your spur and leg pressure. Dusty is easy to haul and settles in at shows well. We have hauled him to shows in several states across the Southeast just because he likes to go, and we didn't want to leave him at home alone while we were showing my other gelding. I retired in 2024 and Dusty is too nice to just be the pasture ornament. Dusty stalls or pastures fine. You can throw a rope off of him, drag a log or do rail classes. Dusty could go win World Show buckles in Performance Halter and be competitive under saddle if someone wanted to go that route, or he can be your best buddy and trail friend.
