Fernand Mio is a 2008, OTTB Novice packer. Mio has had a full career with a list of recognized novices, unrecognized training levels, pony club camps and rallies, USHJA shows, hunter paces, intermediate lessons, leases, and so much more! He is an an extremely well rounded and educated partner who can be a teacher to his rider in any discipline. Mio is light, consistent and comfortable on the flat. Over fences he is straightforward, confident and very adjustable, bringing confidence to any round. We have had Mio for about 6 months. He requires someone with a good balanced seat and is not for a very beginner. He is an OTTB and can be a little spicy so he needs a rider that has an established seat and is independent. He would be a great pony clubber horse for someone looking to get into the beginner novice or novice show ring and be packed around this Spring/Summer.
