Oscar is , well, just Oscar. He was born at our second location after his dam came to us from the same rescue in Texas as Jermaine. His dam and Jermaine were bonded, and we chose to not separate them. Oscar's dam does not have distinct features to tell breed, but she is built similar to an appendix QH. While his dam is roughly 15.3h, Oscar string tests to 16h+. He will likely be a big boy. Oscar has the slow-legged, yet ground-covering movement that we believe would make him a lovely western horse once he matures. He could truly go in any direction: trails, cattle work, western equitation, or even hunters. He is dun with a dorsal stripe and light primitive markings on his legs, but you might describe his coloring as buckskin. We have not had him color tested. He is easy to handle, picks up his feet, leads, and is in general just a sweetie. We would love to see Oscar land with someone who is willing to let him grow up and has a job in mind for him.
