Will has been started with a basic reining foundation, but I believe he would excel at the ranch riding, trail, and western pleasure disciplines. Or maybe even cows! With a sire like PA Marco the possibilities seem endless. He has all the buttons to finish whichever direction you please. He is a bit lazy under saddle, but not a dead head. Will is always willing to please and make a new best friend. He's never been in the show pen but has been ridden off the farm a couple times and did great. Right now, I mostly trail ride him in the woods where he is boarded, and also do some light arena work. I can deworm him and clip his bridle path without even putting a halter on. He does need a patient farrier as sometimes the clanking metal noise startles him. He has zero bad habits in or out of his stall. I do think he would make a better western horse; however, I have ridden him English. If you took him that route, he might excel at sport horse under saddle or western dressage. He does great over ground poles and even goes over small jumps. He is not finished, but I believe an experienced non-pro or amateur rider could finish him before next show season, as he is easy to get along with and very consistent. We just started working on neck reining. He will yield his shoulders, ribcage, and hips easily, so is ready to start learning a flying lead change. A short ad can also be found on my personal Facebook page Ashley Zolinski. Please feel free to request any additional information. (Selling because I cannot afford his board)
