Pine has been handled since birth, and is currently being started under saddle. He will not mature over 14 hands, but is a very solid guy, perfect stocky Gypsy conformation. He would make an adorable pony club mount, or take it slower as an ideal Cowboy Dressage mount. His gaits are extremely smooth. Pine sheds out to a beautiful, bright mahogany bay in the spring. Tons of hair, however part of his mane is currently growing back after some rubbing this summer. Should be looking good by summer! Check out my website for an idea on what training philosophy he has been started with. He wasn't backed until his 4th year, with training that will make for a solid riding partner. My daughter has been training him under my watchful eye and he is progressing nicely. Walk, trot, lope, learning leg aids, has been ridden out of the arena. Moving on to trail riding next. He can stay here after purchase for more training, if desired. If local buyer, continued lessons can be arranged with me. We would not be selling this guy if he was a hand taller, as he is the complete package. Current rider is 5ft6in/120 lbs. He would not be appropriate for someone much larger.
