Who needs the super safe trail, family, grab out of pasture any time, plod along type horse? Laney Blue was a recuse that I knew had lots of love to give yet. My best guess is she has been a brood mare for quite some time. She is the type of horse that you won't even know is in your pasture. She stands a stocky 14.1 hands tall and is 13 years old.Vet and Farrier both agreed that the age is probably right. She is extremely quiet, calm, and laid back. She is absolutely amazing with children on the ground and riding! My kids run all around her, and it never bothers her. Her life calling is to be a lead line horse for kids or a trail horse. You can do pretty much anything to her, and she won't care. She stands for crossties, brushing, mounting, bathing, and for vet and farrier. She will ride in an arena but likes to stop and just stand there. You need to have a crop or strong legs to get her to go sometimes in the ring. Out on trails, she is amazing! She is the plod along type. She will go in the front or back. She has never spooked at anything. She is up to date on coggins, rabies, deworming, fall shots and due to get feet trimmed next week. If something does make her nervous, she will stop and look at it. She is a kick ride! She gets along great with other horses! She goes over any obstacle you point her at. She is a very easy keeper! I can't say enough good things about her, but she does have some quirks that are very manageable. I ride her in a bossel or hackamore as she likes to chomp on the bit. She will paw in the stall when she's ready to go out and in the trailer if it's not moving. She does Not paw when tied to the trailer or in the crossties. She walks different on her left rear leg. It's probably from a previous injury, but like I said, she was a recuse, so I don't know a ton about her background. She has been on 3 hour trail rides in the mountains, & it has never caused a problem. She has never been lame & it doesn't seem to cause her any pain. She runs & plays in the pasture with other horses & is totally normal. She lives in Lebanon, PA. I want to find her the perfect forever home she deserves! https://youtu.be/SBBQZ3Cw8o8?si=v2_JdLhRTJV7Lmuv
