“Dan” is 2012 Grey Grade Quarter Horse Gelding. He is kind of an all around guy. Can do poles, barrels, and throw a rope off him. I’m sure he’d be a handy ranch horse or a fun gymkhana/junior rodeo horse for a handy kid. I’d imagine him to be good in the hills, I just have never done that myself with him. We bought him skinny, fattened him and he just ended up not working out for my very green beginner kids. No fault to his own, he is now feeling good! He is pretty bombproof and so far isn’t scared of anything. He lunges easily, isn’t a ton of go but will if you ask. He was just wormed and he wears 2 shoes on the front, bare on the hind.
