Crickett 2018 quarter/pony gelding Crickett is a stout little sorrel gelding, built fairly square and has good feet. If your looking for a solid minded and friendly pony he could be your guy! Crickett came to me in early September as a domestic feral stallion, and has been reasonable and easy to work with. He stands well for the farrier, catches easy, ties well, loves to be groomed and will be your best friend if you scratch his neck. He is a very "in your pocket" kind of horse. He's not food aggressive or pushy at the door, and stands well in his stall for cleaning. He's been started under saddle, but not finished due to intermittent lameness from a previous injury to his right front leg. He line drives well, stands to be saddled, accepts a bit, and with a little work could be a good leadline mount for kids on a trail. I have been on him, and he's been pretty unbothered by it all. He could make a very good in-hand-trail horse and Showmanship horse. An intermediate youth looking for a winter project could be a good fit. He is shy with new people, but warms up very quick with some quality grooming time and attention. Asking $1000 His price will rise as he accumulates more training. Sale/training deals are available.
