This filly has a heart of gold and gives her all in everything she does. Cheryl is extremely versatile and has been used for all aspects of ranch and cow work.
If you are looking for a young horse you can saddle up and hop on cold in the morning and get a job done this is the horse for you. Cheryl has been my go to horse for halter breaking colts (or mini cows... see in video) Cheryl has been roped off of and has started roping live cattle.
Cheryl has a solid, correct foundation and all the fancy buttons you could want in a 2yo. She has a solid stop, turn-around, side pass, back, leg yields, simple lead changes (just starting on flys) and is starting to neck rein really well.
She went to her first Reining/ Ranch Riding show this fall and did great!
She has carried the flag, is hobble trained, bathes, clips, stands tied, ground ties, stands for the farrier, and loads into anything and backs out of the trailer. She is traffic, dog, kid, equipment and power tool safe!
Cheryl has been to the beach and trail ridden all over. She crosses rivers, swims, crosses logs, stands while you clear trails ect. I've even taken her fishing!😅
